The Akim of Almaty Bakytzhan Sagintayev attended the opening of the IV International Scientific Forum “Innovations in Healthcare-2019”, which discusses the prospects of future medicine.
The forum is held as part of the 90th anniversary of the Medical Service by the Presidential Executive Office. This date starts from the day the Central Clinical Hospital was founded by the President’s Administrative Department in the form of a clinic in 1929 in Alma-Ata.
“Today it is a modern medical center where the best innovative doctors work, developing domestic medicine and introducing the best medical and diagnostic practices,” B. Sagintayev noted.
The city akim said that the best practices of the Central Clinical Hospital, known as “Sovminka”, will be adopted for distribution to all medical institutions in Almaty in order to systematically improve the quality of medical care.
“The professional level of doctors will constantly improve, we will create all the necessary conditions for their work. In the next three years, we will also raise the level of equipment of hospitals and clinics to 90 percent, ”said the akim of the metropolis.
The forum, which discusses the future prospects of medicine, will last two days.
