Member of the Committee on Economic Policy, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship of the Senate Alimzhan Kurtayev and a deputy of the Mazhilis Saken Kanybekov participated in the 2nd meeting of the Executive Council and the 12th Plenary Session on on the Role of Multilateral Cooperation among Asian Parliaments of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly on December 14-16, 2019, in Antalya (Turkey).
The event also included elections of the APA President and Vice-President, meetings of the standing committees, reports of the General Secretary of the Assembly and chairmen of the standing committees.
As a result of the event, the Antalya Declaration will be adopted. The Plenary Session was attended by members of parliaments from 22 countries of the Asian region, the Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Gabriela Cuevas Barron and the leadership of the PUIC.
