The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the assistance of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Representative offices of "KAZAKH INVEST" National Company" JSC in Europe held on December 12, 2019 in Budapest a Round table “Investment Opportunities in Kazakhstan”.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Ministry of Finance and the Export-Import Bank of Hungary, as well as by the leaders of more than twenty leading Hungarian companies.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary Mr. Zhanibek Abdrashov informed the guests in his speech in detail about the current socio-economic situation in the country, about the main provisions of the program documents aimed at further development of Kazakhstan. Particular attention in the presentation of the Ambassador was drawn to the attractiveness of Kazakhstan in terms of access to the markets of Central Asia, Russia and China.
The representative of "KAZAKH INVEST" National Company" JSC in Europe Mr. Jandos Nurlanov informed the audience on the investment climate in Kazakhstan, state support measures, free economic and industrial zones, the preferences provided to foreign investors in the framework of projects in Kazakhstan.
Co-Chair of the Kazakhstan-Hungarian Business Council, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary Mr. László Horváth emphasized the huge potential for Hungarian business in the Kazakhstan market and the availability of all necessary conditions for fruitful cooperation.
A substantive exchange of views took place within the framework of the Round table on ways to deepen and intensify trade and economic cooperation and interaction between representatives of business circles of Kazakhstan and Hungary.
