With a purpose of promoting export and investment potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan as well as to develop interregional cooperation on February 4, 2020 Ambassador of Kazakhstan Mr. Askhat Orazbay had a trip to one of the industrially developed regions of Iran – the Qazvin Province.
In the framework of the trip the Ambassador met the leadership and active core of the region, members of the Qazvin Chamber of Commerce and business representatives, as well as visited several leading companies interested in partnership with Kazakhstan.
During the meeting with the President of the Chamber Mr. Mehdi Bakhshandeh a project of building a logistics center in “Sea Port Aktau” Special Economic Zone was discussed.
Besides that the Ambassador visited “Azar Shams” company processing wheat and producing makarons as well as “Bel Rouzaneh Iran” company which produces dairy products under the “Rouzaneh” brand and belongs to French “Bel” group where he discussed possible directions for bilateral cooperation with their chief executives.
