The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Mongolia held a regular meeting of Friends of Kazakhstan Club, dedicated to the Day of the First President and the 30th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The meeting was attended by prominent public figures and politicians, representatives of the scientific intelligentsia and the Kazakh diaspora, experts, writers and famous personalities of Mongolia, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The goal of Friends of Kazakhstan Club is to unite initiative people from among the citizens of Mongolia who are interested in Kazakhstan, and to bring reliable information about modern Kazakhstan to the Mongolian public, as well as to organize joint events to strengthen bilateral relations between nomadic peoples.
Opening the meeting, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Zhalgas Adilbayev noted the latest events in the life of modern Kazakhstan and outlined the main successes of our countries over 30 years of Independence: economic progress, social development, role in the international security architecture.
Along with this, the Kazakh diplomat informed the Club members about the ongoing economic and political reforms aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of the country and the well-being of our citizens. Also, he briefly spoke about the implementation of the Address of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan «The unity of the people and systemic reforms are a solid basis for the country's prosperity».
Zh.Adilbayev noted that taking into account the high level of trust and respect between Kazakhstan and Mongolia, there is a need to consolidate efforts to promote mutual interests and build up dialogue between societies for the benefit of strengthening bilateral relations. Thus, the Friends Club can serve as a «golden bridge», strengthening cooperation between the peoples of Kazakhstan and Mongolia through scientific, cultural, literary and other projects.
In addition, the III President of Mongolia Nambaryn Enkhbayar made a speech at the event and noted that Kazakhstan achieved dynamic economic development, country's prosperity and recognition in the world community thanks to the forward-looking policy of the First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. In addition, N.Enkhbayar added that the current President of the country K.Tokayev consistently continues the chosen course of his predecessor, and also ensures continuity and carries out systemic reforms to advance Kazakhstan into the world economy.
The Mongolian politician agreed on the need to develop trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Mongolia through the implementation of large projects in the field of transport, logistics and mining.
During the meeting, a photo and book exhibition was also organized, dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence and revealing the dynamic transformations of our republic, its historical path of development as a sovereign state, as well as successes in the international arena.
As a result of the event, an exchange of views took place on the prospects of the Club, on possible joint projects in the form of organizing creative evenings, exhibitions, seminars. Club members expressed a unanimous position on holding meetings of Friends of Kazakhstan Club on a regular basis, and also confirmed their readiness to work for the benefit of friendly Kazakh-Mongolian relations.
