A round table on the topic "Formation of an anti-corruption culture" conducted in the Department of the Anti-Corruption Service for the Mangystau region, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The event was attended by Nauryz Borsanov from the management staff of the Department, Askar Zhaksybayev, head of the regional branch of the Republican Public Association "Adildik Zholy" and Askar Serdalin, Acting Head of the Fire Extinguishing and Emergency Rescue Service of the Mangystau Emergency Department.
The round table discussed topical issues related to combating corruption, which is a public ailment, and also brought proven positive practices.
It should be noted that for 5 months of 2022, the regional branch of the association "Adildik Zholy", while monitoring the public procurement portal, revealed more than 50 corruption risks, for which letters were sent to the departments of internal state audit, protection and development of competition. The head of the branch A.Zhaksybayev noted that the main part of the risks are the purchase of fuels and lubricants and liquefied automobile gas at inflated prices.
During the meeting, the representative of the Department N.Baranov explained to the specialists of this field the importance of self-identification of corruption risks and focused on specific anti-corruption measures and tools.
The participants of the round table were also shown videos on anti-corruption topics.
