With deep sorrow, I received the news of the sudden death of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Makei.
In the diplomatic community, he was known as a patriot of his homeland and a high-level diplomat who faithfully served the cause of international peace and security.
He will remain in our memory as an outstanding statesman who made a huge contribution to the development and strengthening of allied relations between Kazakhstan and Belarus.
