H.E. Ambassador Kairat Lama Sharif met with Mr. Mohammed Faed, head of «First Abu Dhabi Bank Misr» (FABMisr) in Egypt, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
During the conversation, the Kazakh diplomat spoke about the presidential elections held in Kazakhstan and the convincing victory of the President H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and paid attention to the large-scale political and economic reforms carried out in the country aimed to build a Just Kazakhstan.
He informed in detail about the economic potential of Kazakhstan and the measures taken to increase investment attractiveness. He focused on the relevance of the search for reliable financial instruments that can ensure investment stability and predictability. For Kazakhstan and the entire Central Asian region, one of such instruments is the Astana International Financial Center.
Particular attention is paid to interaction in the banking sector. In particular, the Ambassador emphasized the opportunities for FABMisr to participate in the implementation of joint investment projects with Egypt in the energy and agricultural sectors, as well as in the development of renewable energy sources.
An exchange of views took place on the participation of FABMisr in the XIII meeting of the Astana Economic Forum, which will be held in May 2023 in the capital of Kazakhstan. He explained the significance of this important event in terms of its impact on the development of the financial and economic sector.
