On November 23, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Lebanon, Rasul Jumaly, met with members of the parliament where, as reported earlier, a special group on Kazakh-Lebanese friendship was recently created. Current and future possibilities of bilateral cooperation were discussed in detail at the meeting with prominent members of this group. The parties came to the conclusion that bilateral relations have great potential, and declared that they will make joint efforts to implement it in practice. Among the specific projects in this direction such issues as establishing direct contacts between business circles, holding joint business forums, exporting wheat, vegetable oil and other agricultural products from Kazakhstan to Lebanon, opening the possibility for citizens of the two countries to travel without a visa, expanding cultural and informational cooperation. In this regard taking into account the fact that the parliament has great influence in the system of state administration in Lebanon, the deputy assured that the necessary conditions will be created to achieve the intended goals.
