A briefing dedicated to the results of early presidential elections in Kazakhstan was held in Seoul

A briefing was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Korea on the results of the early presidential elections in Kazakhstan, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.

The briefing was attended by leading media outlets of the Republic of Korea: Yonhap News, Hankyoreh Media, News1 Korea, Maeil Business Newspaper, The Korea Post, Hanin Ilbo, Seoul City, Damunhwa News, W-Times, NDN News, Money Today, Financial News.

During the briefing, South Korean journalists were informed about the course of the election campaign in Kazakhstan and abroad, and also got acquainted with the results of the early presidential elections.

Also, the journalists were informed about the key directions of the course of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on building a "Fair Kazakhstan" and democratization of society, as well as on the main measures for the successful implementation of comprehensive reforms adopted at the nationwide republican referendum in June 2022.

In turn, the participants of the event especially noted the proposal of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to limit the presidential term to one seven-year period without the right to re-election, and also expressed hope for further strengthening of bilateral strategic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea.
