Within the walls of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a literary evening "Uly dalanyn - dara tulgasy" was held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the ethnographer, art historian, writer, journalist, public figure, laureate of the State prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of philology, professor A. Seydimbek, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The participants of the literary evening were teachers and 2nd year students of the Higher College of the Eurasian State Institute in Astana.
Within the framework of the event, a book exhibition dedicated to the writer's work will be presented along with a presentation about the life and work of A. Seydimbek.
The aim of the project is to highlight memorable and significant dates that are inextricably linked with the history, culture and literature of Kazakhstan, using the Library's book stock, to popularize the work of poets and writers who have made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh literature, and to increase the role of national literature.
