Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ethiopia, Permanent Representative to the African Union Barlybay Sadykov held a meeting with Commissioner for Economic Development, Trade and Industry of the African Union Albert Muchanga, DKNews.kz reports.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the African Union Commission.
The Ambassador stressed Kazakhstan's interest in cooperation on promoting sustainable development in Africa.
B.Sadykov elaborated on the issues of food security of African countries, joint promotion of interregional trade, as well as determining the shortest transport corridors for mutual supplies of goods to Africa and back.
Commissioner A.Muchanga, for his part, expressed interest in cooperation with Kazakhstan in these areas.
