Ambassador Bolat Nussupov met with the founder of the Brazilian Planetary Union, President of the Brazil–Kazakhstan Friendship Forum Ulisses Riedel at the Embassy of Kazakhstan, DKNews.kz reports.
During the meeting, the Brazilian politician informed about the results of his participation in the International Round Table «The Significance of the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and its Declaration» in Istanbul on April 26 this year, at the invitation of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue. At the same time, Ulisses Riedel announced a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of the Center Bulat Sarsenbayev as part of this event and the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation to strengthen the key areas of activity of the two organizations in building a tolerant society and interfaith dialogue. In this context, the interlocutor briefed the Ambassador on the list of joint events in South America to be held by the Brazilian Planetary Union within the framework of the Memorandum signed with the Kazakh side.
The meeting also discussed cultural projects through the Kazakhstan–Brazil Friendship Forum, which will be implemented on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Brazil this year.
