Ethiopia spoke about the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan

A seminar Dedicated to Outstanding Historical Figures of Kazakhstan was Held in Ethiopia, DKNews.kz reports.

Kazakhstan’s modern policy of strengthening national unity by promoting national history and respecting cultural values was presented during a seminar organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ethiopia.

The cultural event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, the African Union, ambassadors and foreign diplomats, Ethiopian experts, members of the Friendship group of Kazakhstan and the Mass media.

During the seminar, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Permanent Representative to the African Union Barlybay Sadykov spoke about the origin of the Kazakh Khanate, as well as the role of a number of historical figures of the Great Steppe.

The Ambassador noted the importance of understanding the scale of national history, caring for and promoting cultural heritage for progressive modern development.

The Kazakh diplomat spoke in detail about the activities of outstanding personalities of historical and modern Kazakhstan, such as Muhammad Haydar Dulati, Kudaibergen Zhubanov, Abdijamil Nurpeisov, and also especially noted this year’s celebration of the 125th anniversary of academician Kanysh Satbayev, the first president of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, the founder of industrial development Kazakhstan.

In addition, the Ambassador drew attention to the great courage of the Kazakh heroes Rakhimzhan Koshkarbayev, Sagadat Nurmagambetov, as well as the Panfilov division, who made a significant contribution to the victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

More detailed information about significant dates and historical figures of Kazakhstan was presented to the event participants in the format of a photo exhibition.

The seminar program was supplemented by the screening of the film “Panfilov’s 28 Men” – a joint Kazakh-Russian production.

In general, the seminar participants showed great interest in the historical heritage of Kazakhstan, the contribution of prominent figures to the formation and strengthening of statehood, and expressed solidarity with the policy of national unity in our country.
