Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia Zhalgas Adilbayev met with the III President of Mongolia Nambaryn Enkhbayar. The meeting was also attended by the Secretary of the Mongolian People's Party Buya Tulga, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
During the meeting, the Ambassador briefed the Mongolian side on the “Tragic January” events and told about the comprehensive measures taken by the Kazakh government to develop the socio-economic situation in Kazakhstan after this event. In addition, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev in interviews with Kazakhstan’s mass media on January 29 and February 17, he had officially answered a number of questions concerning the “Tragic January” events, and informed about the ongoing political and economic reforms in the country.
The Mongolian side was also provided with additional information on the main theses of the interviews of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev to "Khabar" and "Qazaqstan" TV channels, the texts of which were handed over.
In turn N.Enkhbayar said that he believes that Kazakhstan will emerge from the current situation with dignity, and that the fraternal Kazakh people, who have common roots in history and grew up together, can always count on the support of the Mongolian people.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia Zh.Adilbayev presented N.Enkhbayar with a commemorative medal dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
N.Enkhbayar thanked for the attention and thanked the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev, expressing confidence in the development of friendly relations between the two countries and supporting the initiatives of the Kazakh side.
