According to QazTrade, the turnover of processed goods between Kazakhstan and China in January-March 2022 amounted to $3.1 billion, which is 21.9% higher than in the same period of the previous year ($2.5 billion), Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
Exports of processed goods from Kazakhstan to China increased by 17.8% and amounted to $1 billion.
Supplies of such goods as copper and copper cathodes, vegetable oils, titanium and products made from it, waste from processing cereals or legumes, cyclic hydrocarbons, etc. have increased.
The import of processed goods to Kazakhstan from China in January-March amounted to $2.1 billion.
Kazakhstan imports from China air conditioning units, computers, equipment for sorting and grinding of soil, machines and devices for lifting, moving, loading or unloading, electric generator sets, tires, telephone accessories, etc.
In the first three months of the year, imports from China to Kazakhstan decreased such goods as: shoes and hosiery, bed linen, table, toilet and kitchen, special-purpose machines and mechanical devices, air or vacuum pumps, compressors and fans, etc.
The total trade turnover (raw materials and processed goods) between Kazakhstan and China in January-March 2022 amounted to $4.7 billion, which is 35.6% higher than in the same period of the previous year ($3.4 billion).
