Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Vassilenko met with Director General (Management) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria Sigrid Berka, DKNews.kz reports.
The parties discussed the state and prospects of Kazakh-Austrian cooperation, as well as the planning of bilateral visits and events.
Deputy Minister Vassilenko noted the importance of maintaining active political dialogue at the high and highest level. He also expressed interest in organizing this year the next meeting of the Kazakh-Austrian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Agricultural, Environmental, Industrial,
Technical and Technological Cooperation in order to facilitate further strengthening of economic and investment cooperation between the two countries. The parties stressed the importance of implementing the agreements reached in priority spheres as outcomes of the meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission.
During its visit, the delegation of the Austrian Foreign Ministry also met with Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Amangeldy Sainov. The parties discussed administrative issues and opportunities for the exchange of best practices.
