The Consul General of Kazakhstan in Dubai Rauan Zhumabek held a meeting with representatives of information, scientific, academic and cultural circles of the Emirates of Dubai and Sharjah, DKNews.kz reports.
During the meeting, he informed about important political and socio-economic reforms that are taking place in the country. The basic attention was given to the questions connected with rearrangement in the electoral system of Kazakhstan, especially the early election of Mazhilis of Parliament and maslikhats appointed on March 19, 2023.
The Consul General underlined that the upcoming parliamentary elections are the last significant step in reforming the political system of the country.
The participants of the meeting supported the reforms undertaken by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and expressed confidence in their timely implemented.
