On April 6, 2023, the Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hong Kong and Macao SAR's, PRC Almas Seytakynov met with the management of the "MTR Corporation" of Tuen Mun district, Hong Kong, DKNews.kz reports.
The company was established in 1972 and is engaged in servicing the operation of light rail vehicles, buses, and passenger transportation. Urban transport services are used by more than 500 thousand residents per day.
The company incorporates advanced technologies to coordinate the work of transport and passenger traffic, as well as to ensure the safety of pedestrians.
In the afternoon, A.Seytakynov visited the Police Force district office. During the meeting, the Consul General was familiarized with the work of the police and the anti-terrorist unit. Police officers were informed about the measures taken to ensure security in the city and the basic rules for the stay of foreign citizens in Hong Kong.
