Ombudsman for Human Rights Artur Lastayev met with Ombudsman for Children's Rights Aruzhan Sain, DKNews.kz reports.
Ombudspersons Artur Lastayev and Aruzhan Sain signed a joint Memorandum of Cooperation to protect the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of people and children.
In the framework of the Memorandum, the parties will conduct joint receptions of citizens, law-explanatory work, exchange experience and information, including joint visits to institutions and organizations.

During the meeting, the parties reached an understanding about the need to combine efforts to protect and promote the rights of children in Kazakhstan.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their intentions to continue cooperation on topical issues of health and social protection of children, counteracting violence, and outlined plans for future joint work.
