In honor of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands the statue of Tulip was unveiled in the Botanical Garden of Astana. Tulip is a symbol of peace and prosperity, has a special place in the culture of both countries, and this statue is a sign of the long-standing friendship and reliable partnership, DKNews.kz reports.
It should be noted that the Netherlands is one of the closest partners of our country. A reliable partnership has been established between our countries in the economic, political, and cultural spheres. For example, currently the Kingdom of the Netherlands ranks first in terms of investment in Kazakhstan’s economy. Thus, only last year the number of investments reached 8.3 billion USD, and the total amount of investments from the Netherlands to Kazakhstan exceeded 113 billion USD.
The statue of Tulip has become a new decoration of the Botanical Garden and another symbol of friendship and mutual support between our countries. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Vassilenko, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Andre Carstens, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the capital's administration, and the public.
