In the Union of Bulgarian Journalists, a documentary film was shown on the occasion of the 800th Anniversary of the great Turkic commander and ruler Sultan Baybars. The event was attended by representatives of the Kazakh diaspora, the Bulgarian public and the media, DKNews.kz reports.
The audience watched the film with interest, which reflects in detail the contribution of Sultan Baybars to the formation of the Turkic people and the Muslim world.
Sultan Baybars was the fourth Mamluk Sultan of Egypt and Syria, a talented general of Turkic origin (1260-1277). He is known for his military campaigns against the Mongols and Crusaders.
