Johor Bahru hosted the regional business forum “Johor Business and Investment Forum”, on the sidelines of which Arsen Turgambayev, First Secretary of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Malaysia, met with officials and business circles of the state, DKNews.kz reports.
The diplomat shared with YAB Dato’ Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Menteri Besar Johor (Chief Minister of the State of Johor), Mr. Lee Ting Han, Chairman of the Johor State Investment, Trade and Consumer Affairs Committee, Mrs. Gan-Low Mei Leong, Head of Economics and Investment of Iskandar Regional Development Authority, and other state officials about the potential for the development of interregional cooperation between Kazakhstan and Malaysia.
Entrepreneurs, investors and heads of the largest seaports of the state learned more about the business climate of Kazakhstan as well as opportunities for increasing trade and investment.
