Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and Permanent Representative to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Najmedin Mukhametaliuly, presented his credentials to IRENA Director-General Francesco La Camera, DKnews.kz reports.
During the bilateral meeting, a wide range of issues related to prospective areas of cooperation were discussed. Ambassador Mukhametaliuly emphasized the important role of IRENA in uniting the efforts of various countries in the field of renewable energy.
The Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan confirmed his readiness to actively participate in the work of the organization and to develop partnership relations.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed mutual interest in further developing cooperation.
