Kazakhstan and Pakistan create a working group for the development of agriculture

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin, held a meeting with the Federal Minister of National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, DKnews.kz reports.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the agricultural sector, including the newly formed Joint Working Group on Agriculture between the two countries.

The potential for cooperation in this area was participation emphasized, taking into account the actively developing transportation route for goods through Afghanistan and along the Karakoram Highway.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan invited leading Pakistani agricultural companies to enter the Kazakh market by establishing their enterprises in the Republic of Kazakhstan, highlighting the favorable investment climate in the country.

As a result of the negotiations, both parties agreed to hold the inaugural meeting between the members of the AWG on Agriculture in the near future to discuss and implement practical measures aimed at enhancing cooperation in the agricultural sector.
