The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates Najmedin Mukhametaliuly met with the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, DKnews.kz reports.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UAE, and exchanged views on the prospects for its further development. Specifically, they discussed the importance of striving for peaceful coexistence, promoting the ideas of tolerance, and making joint efforts to counter contemporary challenges and global issues.
Sheikh Nahyan noted the significance and role of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, as well as Kazakhstan’s contribution to the development of interfaith and intercivilizational dialogue in the world.
At the end of the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat extended an invitation to the UAE Minister for the upcoming session of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, scheduled to be held this October.
