In his speech, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Canada Dauletbek Kussainov introduced to the event participants the key theses and a number of new initiatives put forward by the Head of State, the implementation of which opens up additional opportunities for further expansion of the Kazakh-Canadian partnership in such areas as energy, digitalization, artificial intelligence, etc.

Taking into account the economic focus of the Address, a special attention was paid to the tasks set by the Head of State for sustainable socio-economic development, improving the well-being of citizens and the investment environment.

The Kazakh diplomat also emphasized the importance of the upcoming referendum on October 6 this year on the construction of a nuclear power plant, which demonstrates the special approach of President Tokayev to the problem of energy security and the future development of the country, based on the opinion of the people.

In turn, the participants, stressing the relevance of the reforms and the agenda touched by the President of Kazakhstan in his Address, supported the initiatives and strategic decisions of the Kazakh government for the further development of the country.
