Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Finland Azamat Abdraimov met with the Mayor of Vaasa Tomas Häyry. Vaasa is considered the energy capital of the North.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide potential of bilateral interaction within the framework of interregional cooperation, emphasizing the importance of developing relations in the energy sector.
Pending the visit, the Kazakh diplomat met with the leadership of the Finnish company Wärtsilä, a world leader in innovative energy technologies. Prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of energy and innovation were discussed with Kenneth Engblom, Vice President of the company. Wärtsilä is ready to bring its advanced experience to Kazakhstan and assist in creation of highly efficient and flexible heating systems and balancing power grids.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan also held a meeting with the CEO of Beamex Oy, Jan-Henrik Svensson. The interlocutors considered the possibility of developing cooperation with the technological market leader in mechanical and multifunctional calibration equipment.
