A roundtable showcasing Kazakhstan’s investment potential and fostering economic partnerships was held in the capital of South Africa. Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerkin Akhinzhanov shared insights into country’s economic achievements and outlined promising avenues for foreign investors.
The diplomat highlighted that Kazakhstan continues to develop its unique blend of ancient heritage and modern innovation, underscoring the country’s status as a prominent economic hub in Eurasia, which offers unique opportunities for business and growth.
The attention was specifically captured by Kazakhstan’s strong credit rating and the vast investment potential in sectors like energy, agriculture, IT, infrastructure, and others. Kazakhstan’s strategic location providing favorable trade routes between East and West was highlighted as well.
South African participants, including representatives from various businesses, local government agencies, and the media, attended the event and responded positively to the proposals for possible cooperation with Kazakhstan. Information on advanced development programs, including green economy initiatives and digitalization, also sparked their interest.
