A judge of the Constitutional Court addressed an international conference on human rights work and civil society, DKnews.kz reports
Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerkin Ongarbayev took part in an international scientific and practical conference on “Law Enforcement and Civil Society” organized by the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN).
The event brought together more than 100 participants from different countries, including representatives of legal, educational and human rights organizations, as well as experts and representatives of civil society.
The conference became a platform for the exchange of experience and opinions between leading experts, researchers and practitioners in the field of law. The participants discussed the development of civil society institutions, reforming the legal and notarial profession, prospects for interaction between the state and civil society, digitalization and the use of new technologies in the activities of law enforcement agencies.
In his speech, Judge Yerkin Ongarbayev spoke in detail about the specifics of the court's activities and its role in ensuring constitutional legality in the country, the statistics of appeals and the final decisions of the Constitutional Court on them.
