Ethnic Kazakh Zaangar Esentaiuly Appointed Governor of Bayan-Ulgii Province, DKnews.kz reports
By order of the Prime Minister of Mongolia, Zaangar Esentaiuly, an ethnic Kazakh, has been appointed Governor of Bayan-Ulgii Province. This was reported by Kaznews information agency.
At the first session of the newly elected Bayan-Ulgii Provincial Citizens' Representatives Khural, held on October 28, Zaangar Esentaiuly’s candidacy for the position of governor was approved and submitted for confirmation to the Prime Minister of Mongolia.
According to the Prime Minister's decree, Zaangar Esentaiuly, who previously served twice as a deputy of the Provincial Citizens' Representatives Khural, chaired the Democratic Party of the province, and worked as the director of the Samal company, has been confirmed as Governor of Bayan-Ulgii Province.
