In order to strengthen economic and cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Poland, as well as to foster regional-level cooperation, Kazakhstan Days were held in Szczecin, the capital of Western Pomerania, DKnews.kz reports.

During the two-day event, meetings were held with the Voivode of Western Pomerania, the leadership of the region and the city, as well as with businesses and business associations.

During the meetings, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Alim Kirabayev emphasized the importance of Western Pomerania’s experience in developing port infrastructure for Kazakhstan, which is actively enhancing its transport and logistics hubs as a key transport corridor between Europe and Asia. In this context, the potential for training Kazakh specialists for work in seaports based at the Szczecin Maritime University was discussed.

Additionally, agreements were reached to organize reciprocal visits by business representatives from Kazakhstan and Western Pomerania and to establish partnerships with regions in Kazakhstan.
