Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Iran Discussed the Status and Prospects for the Development of Bilateral Relations, DKnews.kz reports.
On the margins of the 28th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan paid special attention to the activation of bilateral trade cooperation and the development of further specific measures in this direction. In this context, he told about the upcoming high-level visits to Iran, which will give new impetus to economic relations between Astana and Tehran.
In turn, Minister Araghchi expressed readiness to fully use the great potential of both countries for the implementation of the agreements and arrangements reached at the highest and high levels.
During the meeting, the ministers also discussed the implementation of transport and logistics and joint investment projects, as well as “compared the notes” on topical international and regional issues.
