FlyArystan supported doctors' master classes in the regions under the Heart Center Foundation project, DKnews.kz reports.
Kazakhstan’s low-cost airline, FlyArystan, has partnered with the Heart Center Foundation to support an initiative aimed at improving medical care and enhancing the professional skills of doctors in Kazakhstan’s regions. The airline facilitated free flights for leading UMC Heart Center specialists from Astana to various cities across the country to share their expertise.
“It is crucial for us to be part of such a meaningful project. We firmly believe that access to modern medical technologies and highly qualified care should be available in every region of Kazakhstan. As the country’s leading domestic airline, FlyArystan will continue to support initiatives that contribute to the well-being of Kazakhstanis throughout the republic” Richard Ledger, President of FlyArystan
The joint project between FlyArystan and the Heart Center Foundation began in fall 2024. Cardiothoracic surgeon Yermagambet Kuatbayev, arrhythmologist Serik Bagimbayev, and anesthesiologist Dinmukhamed Seydanov visited Uralsk. Over three days, the team performed surgeries and shared their expertise with local doctors. Notably, six cryoablation procedures to restore heart rhythm introduced to the region for the first time.
Continuing their mission, UMC Heart Center specialists, supported by FlyArystan, traveled to Kostanay. Arrhythmologist Omirbek Nuralinov and cardiologist Aleksey Goncharov performed eight interventional procedures for patients with complications and heart rhythm disorders. They also provided consultations for patients and conducted masterclasses for physicians at the regional cardiology center.
The final stage of the project was a visit to Kyzylorda region, where the doctors participated in the scientific and practical conference “Innovative Methods in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases.” Contributions came from Timur Lesbekov, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Director of UMC Cardiothoracic Surgery; Omirbek Nuralinov, Head of UMC Interventional Electrophysiology; and Assem Baurzhankyzy, UMC Cardiologist. These educational events enhanced the professional level of doctors and improved the quality of medical care.
Murat Zauyrov, Director of the Heart Center Foundation:
“We see how vital it is to provide regions with modern knowledge and technologies. Our goal is to enable every Kazakhstani to access advanced medical care in any corner of the country. FlyArystan’s support plays a key role in realizing this project. Each trip has opened new opportunities for regional doctors and strengthened the connection between the country’s medical centers” Murat Zauyrov, Director of the Heart Center Foundation
Earlier, FlyArystan also supported the "Jüregımnıñ Jeñımpazy" charitable run organized by the Foundation, aimed at raising awareness about organ donation and providing moral support to those awaiting life-saving transplants. A marathon participant, Akzharkyn Zhagiparova, who underwent a kidney transplant a year ago, won free trip to Kutaisi. The joint initiative between FlyArystan and the Heart Center Foundation highlights the importance of collaboration between business and medicine to achieve the shared goal of improving the quality of life in the country.
