Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Sweden, Olzhas Suleimenov met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, Maria Malmer Stenergard, DKnews.kz reports.
The discussions focused on key areas of bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the need to enhance political dialogue, facilitate high-level visits, strengthen trade, economic, and investment ties, and expand the legal framework for collaboration.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing joint initiatives in sustainable development.
“Kazakhstan views Sweden as a reliable and vital partner in achieving carbon neutrality by 2060 and implementing projects within the framework of the green transition. Strengthening cooperation in innovative technologies, green energy, and water resource management are among our priority areas” Olzhas Suleimenov
In turn, Maria Malmer Stenergard highlighted the strong relationship between Kazakhstan and Sweden and expressed Sweden’s readiness to deepen the partnership further.
