FlyArystan announces the addition of a new Airbus A320 Neo to its fleet. This is the 24th aircraft in the fleet of Kazakhstan’s leading low-cost carrier. The aircraft, designed to accommodate 188 passengers, combines cutting-edge technology, environmental efficiency, and a high level of comfort, DKnews.kz reports.
The Airbus A320 Neo is equipped with next-generation engines and enhanced aerodynamics, reducing fuel consumption by 20% and significantly decreasing its carbon footprint (the statistics are published on the official website of the manufacturer). Additionally, the noise level of this aircraft is much lower compared to previous models.
“Taking delivery of a brand-new A320 aircraft from the Airbus factory in Toulouse and its subsequent integration into operations is a significant step in FlyArystan’s development and our mission to provide high-quality, affordable air travel. This aircraft not only enables us to offer new routes and increase flight frequencies on popular destinations but also reaffirms our commitment to environmental responsibility” Richard Ledger, President of FlyArystan
The new aircraft has been named “Spica”, after one of the brightest stars in the night sky, symbolizing the airline’s aspiration to lead the way in affordable and comfortable air travel.
Starting January 1, 2025, all FlyArystan flights operate under the new FS code (replacing the previous KC code), as assigned by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
