Aidentis, a leading developer of AI-powered solutions for dentistry, has announced a strategic partnership with the Kazakhstan Dental Association (KDA) and the Kazakhstan Association of Dental Students (DAS). This collaboration aims to integrate advanced artificial intelligence technologies into dental practice and education while fostering the development of domestic innovations in the industry, DKnews.kz reports.

The Kazakhstan Dental Association, which has 19 branches across the country and represents hundreds of professionals from various levels of dental services, sees this partnership as a significant step toward modernizing clinical diagnostics and enhancing the training of future specialists.

“We first recognized Aidentis’s potential when attending their lecture on artificial intelligence at an industry exhibition. AI is becoming a game-changer in dentistry, and we are excited to implement these cutting-edge technologies in our clinics. This initiative will help both professionals and students enhance their skills and improve diagnostic accuracy” Dana Ospanova, President of the Kazakhstan Dental Association

Aidentis develops AI-driven solutions that optimize dental workflows by automating routine diagnostic processes, such as cephalometric (TRG) analysis and image interpretation. By leveraging artificial intelligence, the platform significantly reduces the time required for data analysis, allowing dentists to focus more on patient care. This is particularly beneficial for young professionals at the start of their careers, providing them with confidence and precise tools to support their work.

The Kazakhstan Association of Dental Students (DAS) has pointed out that traditional university programs often do not include training in modern digital diagnostic techniques such as automated cephalometric analysis. Typically, dentists acquire these skills through professional development courses after graduation. However, Aidentis is making these technologies accessible to students during their studies – free of charge.

“Manually analyzing and interpreting cephalometric images requires significant effort and expertise. Aidentis offers an intuitive AI-powered solution that streamlines this process, making diagnostics more efficient and ensuring students gain practical experience with real-world tools. This prepares them to be competitive professionals from the start of their careers” Anel Azhigalieva, President of DAS

Asylzat Isatay, Founder of Aidentis, emphasized that the company is committed to transforming dentistry through technological innovation:

“We are developing solutions that not only assist dentists and students in their daily practice but also lay the foundation for research and scientific advancement. Our goal is to seamlessly integrate AI into everyday dental workflows” Asylzat Isatay, Founder of Aidentis

Aidentis is actively partnering with medical universities, professional associations, and student organizations to facilitate education, knowledge exchange, technology adoption, training events, and professional networking.

At the end of 2024, the startup secured $200,000 in funding from business angels, bringing its valuation to $3 million.

The Kazakhstan Dental Association (KDA) is the country’s first professional organization for dentists. Established in 1991, it has been representing Kazakhstan’s dental community both nationally and internationally for over 30 years. Since 1995, KDA has been a member of the World Dental Federation (FDI).
