On 17 February 2025 in Paris (France) the meeting of the Chairman of the Kazakhstan Agency for International Development ‘KazAID’ Arken Arystanov with the Director of the Department of Asia Cyrille Bellier of the French Development Agency (FAR/AFD) with the participation of the representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the French Republic took place, DKnews.kz reports.
The parties considered issues of strengthening cooperation between KazAID and AFD in the field of international development, as well as discussed potential priority areas of partnership for 2025-2027 and joint initiatives in areas consistent with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The parties attached great importance to the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Partnership.
The French side expressed interest in further co-operation in the field of international development. The parties agreed to expand potential areas of cooperation.
