Kazakhstan and the USA strengthen academic cooperation

Kazakhstan and the USA Strengthen Inter-University Cooperation, DKnews.kz reports.

During a working visit to Pennsylvania state, Consul General of Kazakhstan in New York, Rauan Tleulin and Narxoz University Vice President, Aigerim Raimzhanova met with representatives of leading universities in Pennsylvania.

As part of efforts to expand educational cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United States, discussions were held with Amy Gadsden, Vice Provost of the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn), and Rogelio Minana, Vice Provost of Drexel University.

The meetings focused on opportunities for academic partnerships in business administration, public policy, IT, law, and education management. Both sides explored potential areas of cooperation, including joint academic programs, certification courses, student and faculty exchange programs, research collaborations, and dual-degree programs.

During the visit, Consul General Tleulin also held a series of meetings aimed at strengthening economic, trade, and cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Pennsylvania. Discussions with the Head of the Philadelphia Department of Commerce and the Deputy Director of the Governor’s Office for International Business Development focused on expanding economic cooperation and encouraging Pennsylvania-based companies to explore joint investment projects in agribusiness processing, healthcare, and IT.
