The second meeting of the Strategic Dialogue has commenced in Almaty with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu and Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi, DKnews.kz reports.

The Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan emphasized that the country attaches utmost importance to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation and the strengthening of the everlasting comprehensive strategic partnership with China.
The ministers are expected to discuss a wide range of issues related to political, trade and economic, as well as cultural and humanitarian cooperation, and to review the implementation of agreements reached at the high and highest levels.
It is expected that an Agreement on the establishment of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Guangzhou and a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Foreign Ministries for 2026-2028 will be signed.
The Chinese Foreign Minister arrived in Almaty on a working visit to participate in the meeting of Foreign Ministers in the “Central Asia – China” format, scheduled for April 26.
