CollNanoInd 2025 will unite science, business and sustainable development within the walls of KBTU

International Scientific and Technical Conference "Colloids and Nanotechnologies in Industry" (CollNanoIndustry 2025) and a Business Forum will be held at KBTU on May 19–21, 2025, DKnews.kz reports.

The Conference organizer is the “One Belt, One Road” Petroleum Engineering Institute, led by Director Professor Saule Aidarova, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Conference goal is to establish an international platform in the fields of chemical and physical engineering, colloid chemistry, and nanotechnology, promoting dialogue and knowledge exchange among leading scientists, engineers, and industry representatives. The Conference will address current achievements and pressing issues in industrial sectors, as well as urgent environmental and technological challenges.

Special attention will be given to global topics such as decarbonization, CO₂ storage and retention, sustainable development of alternative energy, and green technologies.

The Conference will highlight the integration of science, production, and business, and will explore recent advancements and trends in colloid science, interfacial surfaces, nanodispersions, and their applications in the development of new industrial materials.

Renowned scientists from Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Serbia, China, Thailand, CIS countries, as well as Kazakhstani researchers - leaders of scientific project teams, and representatives from business, industry, and higher education of Kazakhstan will participate in the Conference.

The honored guests and participants will deliver scientific presentations and take part in the Business Forum and workshops on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the principles of Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG).

The Conference will include a round table discussion, “Science without Borders: Internationalization as a Catalyst for Innovation in Higher Education” on the impact of internationalization of science and education on innovation, collaboration and academic excellence in higher education systems.

The Сonference program includes plenary, oral and poster sessions, workshops; the abstracts will be published in the Conference Proceedings in Kazakh, Russian and English.
