Kazakhstan and Pakistan create a platform for legal exchange of experience

The Islamabad Bar Association Is Interested in Strengthening Cooperation with the Astana Bar Association, DKnews.kz reports.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin visited the Islamabad High Court Bar Association.

During the meeting, the Association’s management talked about the main activities of the organization, as well as shared suggestions for establishing cooperation with similar organizations from the capital of Kazakhstan.

The Ambassador spoke about the events that took place this year, in particular about the visit of the Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir to Astana, about the 13th Session of the Intergovernmental Commission in Islamabad and the business forum in Karachi, emphasizing the growing interest on both sides in building multifaceted cooperation.

In this context, the importance of developing a legal framework for further diversifying bilateral cooperation was highlighted, as well as the need to share experiences and study the existing legal systems of Kazakhstan and Pakistan.

The Head and members of the Association supported the above-mentioned proposals and expressed their intentions to visit Astana to exchange experiences and study the legislative framework of Kazakhstan, establish cooperation with legal organizations and universities of Kazakhstan.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to hold online negotiations in the near future between the Islamabad High Court Bar Association and the Astana Bar Association.
