Prestigious Israeli Polytechnic University Ready to Cooperate with Universities of Kazakhstan, DKnews.kz reports.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Israel Daulet Yemberdiyev paid an official visit to Israel’s largest and most prestigious polytechnic university, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
During the meeting with Technion President Uri Sivan, both sides discussed the prospects for strengthening cooperation between the university and institutions within Kazakhstan’s scientific and educational sectors. An agreement was reached to expand collaboration in promising fields such as engineering and exact sciences, as well as in research, innovation, and technology.
President Sivan expressed a firm belief in the importance of launching joint academic and research projects between Kazakhstan and Israel and emphasized the potential of involving doctoral and postgraduate students in shared scientific programs.
Ambassador Yemberdiyev, in turn, noted that deepening cooperation in this area would significantly enhance bilateral relations and contribute meaningfully to their long-term development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue building upon this cooperation. A Kazakhstani delegation will be sent to Israel to study Technion’s model, exchange expertise, and participate in international academic events.
