Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Finland Azamat Abdraimov met with the Head of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland Tapio Luuoma, DKnews.kz reports.
The Kazakh diplomat acquainted the interlocutor with the policy of interreligious dialogue pursued in Kazakhstan, the upcoming VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in September 2025, and also conveyed to Tapio Luuom an official invitation on behalf of Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev.
The Head of the Evangelical Lutheran Church expressed gratitude for the invitation and confirmed his participation in the upcoming Congress, highly appreciating Kazakhstan’s efforts to strengthen tolerance and promote the idea of peaceful coexistence of religions.
