Kazakhstan’s Tourism Potential Presented in Prague, DKnews.kz reports.
The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in cooperation with JSC “NC Kazakh Tourism,” organized a business seminar titled “Welcome to Kazakhstan” in the capital of the Czech Republic. The event aimed to showcase Kazakhstan’s tourism potential and to foster business ties between Kazakh and Czech tourism industry stakeholders.
Held in a hybrid format, the seminar brought together representatives of governmental institutions, travel agencies, and professional associations from both countries. Bakyt Dyussenbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Czech Republic, delivered the opening remarks. In his speech, the Ambassador highlighted the growing interest in Kazakhstan among international tourists and encouraged Czech tour operators to explore the potential of this destination for the Czech market.
As part of the seminar program, Kairat Sadvakassov, Chairman of the Board of JSC “NC Kazakh Tourism,” presented Kazakhstan’s modern tourism offerings, including cultural, ecological, adventure, and ethno-tourism. Viktor Voitsekhovskyi, General Representative of SCAT Airlines in Europe, spoke about the advantages of direct flights and Kazakhstan’s logistical accessibility for travelers from the Czech Republic.
A number of Kazakh travel companies, including Raft Service, Gvidon Tour, Khan Turan Travel, Empire Travel Qazaqstan, and others, also introduced their services. During the B2B sessions, participants discussed the prospects of establishing mutually beneficial partnerships and identifying new avenues of cooperation.
The seminar concluded with a luncheon, where guests were treated to traditional Kazakh cuisine. Tourism sector representatives from both countries expressed a strong interest in further developing cooperation to promote Kazakhstan as a travel destination on the Czech market.
