In Astana, Chairman of Kazakh Tourism Kairat Sadvakasov officially awarded the honorary title of "Tourism Ambassador of Kazakhstan" to popular Chinese influencer Taotao. The blogger, who has a following of over 7 million, has been enthusiastically introducing her audience to Kazakhstan’s rich culture and breathtaking landscapes, DKnews.kz reports.
Taotao has already explored three regions of the country. She first discovered Kazakhstan during the World Nomad Games in 2024. This time, her journey includes the stunning natural sites of East Kazakhstan and Almaty regions, as well as areas around the cities of Astana and Almaty.
A passionate equestrian, Taotao pays special attention to Kazakh culture and scenic nature. Her content showcases traditional Kazakh clothing, national cuisine, and moments from eagle hunting experiences — offering followers an authentic glimpse into the soul of the country.
"I’m deeply honored and grateful to receive such a prestigious title," Taotao shared. "I will continue sharing the beautiful landscapes and national dishes of Kazakhstan so that more people can discover and visit this amazing country."
Since 2018, Kazakh Tourism has been running the “Tourism Ambassador of Kazakhstan” initiative. Its goal is to promote Kazakhstan as an attractive global travel destination and to highlight the country’s diverse natural and cultural heritage. Last year, Japanese blogger Yuji Natsuma received the same honorary mission.
“The Tourism Ambassador program is a powerful tool for building Kazakhstan’s national tourism brand abroad. Our ambassadors include figures from the tourism industry, culture, education, media, and digital spaces. They represent Kazakhstan in various countries, sharing stories about our country enthusiastically and voluntarily with their audiences,” noted Kairat Sadvakasov, Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC Kazakh Tourism".
