FlyArystan hosted a meeting of tourism industry representatives from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in Atyrau, DKnews.kz reports.
FlyArystan, with the support of JSC “ATMA – Atyrau Airport and Transportation” (Atyrau International Airport), the General Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Aktau, and the Tourist Information Center “Visit Atyrau” organized a meeting aimed at strengthening cooperation between travel companies of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The B2B workshop format brought together dozens of travel agencies from both countries, along with representatives of health resorts, wellness centers, hotel complexes, and medical tourism organizations from Uzbekistan. The event served as an effective platform for establishing business connections, exchanging experiences, and discussing prospects for joint tourism projects.
"Events like this play a key role in promoting tourism by creating a space for direct dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the building of long-term partnerships. During the meeting with partners from Uzbekistan, several promising ideas were voiced, which we believe will lead to concrete future initiatives. I would also like to note that on July 15, FlyArystan launched a new route between Atyrau and Tashkent – a logical continuation of the Kazakh low-cost carrier’s efforts to enhance tourism and business exchange between the two countries" Janar Jailauova, Director of Sales and Marketing at FlyArystan
The Atyrau – Tashkent route is now available to passengers: from July 15 to the end of August, flights operate on Thursdays and Sundays, in September and October – on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
As part of the program, participants from Uzbekistan were also introduced to the tourism potential of the Caspian region. Guests visited the scenic Zhaiyk River – and explored the Interactive Museum showcasing the region’s industrial heritage.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed strong interest in further cooperation and the development of joint tourism initiatives.
