The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) and digital transformation.
The signing ceremony took place at Huawei’s headquarters in Shanghai as part of an official visit by a delegation from the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the People’s Republic of China.
The Memorandum also provides for the creation of a joint working group comprising representatives of both parties. This group will analyze the current state of Kazakhstan’s ICT sector, identify industry needs, and propose solutions for modernizing the country’s digital infrastructure for the period 2025–2030.

The signing of the Memorandum marks another step in strengthening bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and China in the field of technology and confirms both sides’ commitment to building a digital future focused on sustainable growth and innovation.
