Astana hosted the presentation of the New Vision 2025 forum. The event showcased the format of the upcoming gathering in Almaty, DKNews.kz reports.
The mission of the New Vision Forum is to inspire, connect, and develop entrepreneurs and businesses.
This year’s major Eurasian business event will take place in the fall - from October 9 to 11 in Almaty. The forum’s theme is “Ready for the Future: Breakthrough Strategies for 2026”.
According to the organizers, the New Vision Forum is the leading business platform in Eurasia, where leaders and innovators shape the future.
The forum’s founder and CEO, Maksat Kurbenov, announced that top global business experts will be coming to Almaty.
“Today our goal is to present the large New Vision forum. At such events, we strive to organize motivational morning masterclasses to energize participants. By the way, a very strong, legendary speaker is coming to us. We have been trying to invite him for 7-8 years. He is a personal adviser to one of the world’s top 50 billionaires. One of his most famous cases is Jeff Bezos. If you have followed his transformation, you will have noticed that he is no longer just an IT specialist, but a confident person in excellent physical shape. This entrepreneur’s business adviser is Julian Treasure. He will be visiting Central Asia for the first time,” he said.
Julian Treasure is a world-renowned expert in communication and the art of effective speaking.
Among other notable forum speakers is Robin Sharma, a leadership expert, bestselling author, and founder of Sharma Leadership International.
Organizers note that the New Vision Forum will feature a variety of masterclasses for entrepreneurs.
How did the idea for the forum arise?
After the pandemic, the world changed dramatically. Technology has been advancing one breakthrough after another. In recent years, artificial intelligence has firmly entered our lives, and this year it has even begun creating versions of itself. If in the past only a human could create another human, now technology can create new technology. Fast-growing companies are accelerating even more, the technology sector is expanding, and traditional business is slowing down. But as Maksat Kurbenov points out, the thing that changes the slowest is the human mindset.
“The mission of the forum is to refresh the thinking of entrepreneurs, to inspire them, connect them, and develop them. After all, entrepreneurs are the main driving force behind the economy and the country’s growth,” he emphasized.
What to expect in 2025
The forum will bring together more than 10,000 guests. It will also feature a large-scale exhibition with more than 100 participating companies. Over 100 global speakers - leading entrepreneurs from around the world - are expected to attend.
According to Maksat Kurbenov, if Kazakhstan has 5,000 entrepreneurs and each has a team of 20–50 people, the forum’s impact could reach around 250,000 people.
“This is an important step that could be the start of major changes,” he noted.
How the presentation went in Astana
The New Vision 2025 presentation brought together entrepreneurs from the capital. Before the main event, a masterclass was held by Talgat Baigozhinov, TV host on Eurasia’s First Channel, public speaker, and coach on public speaking skills.
“A leader’s voice is the mirror of their authority. Only someone who speaks beautifully, with a rich, resonant voice, clearly and slowly, able to pause and place emphasis, and who removes ‘filler’ from their speech, can truly be called a leader. That’s why it is so important to pay attention to your voice, your manner of communication, and most importantly, how you carry yourself in a space,” the coach emphasized.
Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, Kanat Alin, spoke about the relationship between the state and business, as well as the chamber’s role in building this dialogue.
“A modern state cannot be effective without a strong business sector. Business needs transparent and clear rules, and for economic growth and partnership development, there must be constructive dialogue between the state and entrepreneurs. Business needs a platform for direct communication with the state and a reliable partner. It was for this purpose that the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs was established in 2014, bringing together representatives of both small and large businesses. At first, many asked, ‘Why is this needed?’ But time has shown results - dialogue with the state has been established, and concrete decisions are being made. Atameken is an open platform for dialogue between business and the state,” he said.
According to him, over the past two years Atameken has undergone major transformation. Whereas previously the structure was somewhat closed, it is now open to all entrepreneurs. Any business owner can now take part in the work of regional councils and industry committees.
