JSC State Technical Service will serve as an information partner of KazHackStan 2025 — the largest practical cybersecurity conference in Central Asia, DKNews.kz reports.
This year, the event will take place on September 17–19 in Almaty, at SADU ARENA, and will focus on the theme Zero Day.
Zero Day is the day when a vulnerability is already inside the system, but no one knows about it yet. This type of threat allows attackers to silently penetrate the most critical infrastructures — energy, transportation, communications — long before detection, making the attack sudden and destructive. It’s impossible to defend against it in advance because the weak point hasn’t been discovered yet.
As part of the conference, JSC State Technical Service Chairman Askar Rakhymbaiuly Zhunisbek will take part and deliver a speech, sharing his vision of the key challenges and prospects for the development of the national cybersecurity system.
KazHackStan 2025 will be the seventh edition of the region’s largest cyber conference, uniting government representatives, businesses, the expert community, and hackers on one platform. More than 6,000 participants and 65+ speakers from Kazakhstan, CIS countries, Europe, Asia, and the USA are expected to attend.
Conference program
- Day 1 – GOVERNMENT & BUSINESS DAY: Policy, regulation, data leak cases, and critical cybersecurity mistakes.
- Day 2 – SECURE DEVELOPMENT DAY: Best practices in secure development, protection in the age of AI and cloud technologies.
- Day 3 – HACK DAY: Live attack demonstrations, Red Team vs Blue Team, and the finals of the largest hacking competition CyberKumbez.
The event is organized by TSARKA Group in cooperation with CIB of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan.
